Manfred grew up with computers and is a long time open source coder. He is co-author of the book Trino: The Definitive Guide, contributor to Trino and other open source projects, and co-host of the Trino Community Broadcast.

At Starburst, Manfred leads the technical content team and the Trino developer relations team, and helps out wherever he can.
